The Child Study Team is comprised of a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant, a School Psychologist, and a Social Worker that provide a variety of services to the staff, parents, and students.  Services include intervention, consultation, identification, assessment, program planning, educational placement, program development and in-services education.  In addition to the basic Child Study Team members, licensed psychiatrists, neurologists, speech-language specialists, occupational and physical therapists are consulted when necessary.

Mission Statement
The West Paterson Child Study Team works with students, teachers, and parents to make school a successful and pleasant experience for all children.  The Team has a special concern for the whole child (socially, emotionally, and academically).  We work together to support them.  The primary goal is to have children leave our school system ready to meet new challenges.
