• Fourth Grade Students have the option to participate in our School Battle of the Books. Students will be reading fifteen books that are listed below. Students can sign up with other students in teams of no more than five students per group. The school battle will be in the Spring, and the two winning teams will be invited to participate at the County Battle on June 7th hosted here at Beatrice Gilmore. This event is only open to the students to view. However, we do encourage parents to help their children at home prepare for the competition. The books are available at our school library along with the public library. It is encouraged that students keep a log of relevant information from each book to help them remember important details from the book. Students will be receiving questions for each book that will be similar to the questions are asked during the Battle of the Books.

If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Krakower wkrakower@wpschools.org.
