Covid Guidelines 2023-2024
Message from the Nurses about Covid-19
As we continue to navigate through the 2023-24 school year, we would like to share some important information to clear up any confusion.
- Keep your child home when they are sick. If your child has any of the following symptoms, they should remain home and show proof of a negative COVID test:
Fever
Chills
Muscle/Body Aches
Headache
Sore throat
Nausea
Diarrhea
Vomiting
Fatigue
Congestion or Runny nose
Cough
Shortness of breath
Difficulty breathing
New loss of taste or smell
- Please report any illness/+COVID cases to your school nurse.
- Masks -are optional at this time
- Quarantining and isolation
- If your child tests positive, they must remain home for 5 days and return to in-person learning on day 6 (as long as they are no longer symptomatic).
- Please be aware that they must mask when they return on days 6-10.
- If a household contact tests positive, your child should be closely monitored for symptoms and wear a mask at school.
- Travel restrictions/quarantine
- No longer required
