Water Safety

Water safety is essential for preventing drowning and ensuring a positive swimming experience for children. All swimmers, especially young children, should be actively supervised by an adult at all times, remain within arm’s reach when inexperienced, and learn foundational skills such as floating, breathing control, and safe entry/exit techniques. Enrolling children in structured swim lessons taught by certified instructors helps build confidence, teaches critical survival skills, and reduces the risk of water related accidents. However, even strong swimmers require constant supervision, as no level of skill eliminates risk.
