Animal Club wraps up year with trip to Turtle Back Zoo
The Woodland Park Animal Club visited The Turtle Back Zoo as the final activity of the school year.
This year, there were many zoo babies to observe. Most had been born just a few weeks prior to their visit. There were prairie dog babies, called pups. There were also Jacob sheep babies, called lambs. They had black and white spots and little horns. And then there were otter babies, which can be called pups, kits, or kittens.
All of the babies were so cute and all of the animals were fun to watch including the free roaming chipmunks and peacocks. It was another fabulous trip to end the school year.
