Footprints For Life Returns To Charles Olbon
The Footprints For Life program has once again returned to Charles Olbon School. The program, funded by the Woodland Park Municipal Alliance for Alcoholism & Drug Abuse and presented by the Center for Prevention & Counseling, is given over six sessions to all second grade students. Facilitators Christina Dewaelsche and Ashlyn Gec use stories and puppets to provide lessons on such topics as sharing feelings using "I"-messages, problem-solving, decision-making, peer pressure, alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, and celebrating our differences.
