Beatrice Gilmore School

My name is Krystal Capo and it is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as a third grade teacher at Beatrice Gilmore Elementary School! The 2017-2018 school year is about to kick off and I am more than excited to meet my new students. I am very enthusiastic about returning to teach for my SIXTH year at BG and working with the Woodland Park community! I can hardly believe I will be teaching my sixth group of unique third graders in the town of Woodland Park. My love for teaching grows with each class I get to work with!

I grew up as a North Jersey resident and attended college at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. It was at Bloomsburg University that I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education with a dual certification in Elementary Education and Special Education. In addition, I graduated from Montclair State University with a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership in May 2017.  Other than teaching, learning is a passion of mine.  I pursue this by continuing my education, attending professional development year round, and consistently learning from my colleagues in Woodland Park! Other than my love for teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, traveling, and being outdoors.
