• Greetings! My name is Michael Rizzo and I am delighted to be your child’s teacher for the beginning half of the 2017-2018 school year.

     

    I completed my student teaching placement in Allendale, NJ, as a fourth grade teacher in Fall 2015. After student teaching, I worked as a Paraprofessional in Hawthorne at Washington Elementary School. Most recently, I have been working in Ramsey at Tisdale Elementary School as an Instruction Aide. I am super excited to be a part of the Beatrice Gilmore family!

     

    While my biggest passion is teaching young students, there is plenty that I enjoy doing outside of the classroom. Some of these activities include spending time with my family, cooking, reading, writing, traveling, going to the beach, attending shows/concerts, and hiking.

     

    My commitment as an educator will be to provide your child with a nurturing and challenging educational environment, which encourages questioning and inquiry that will ensure success in third grade.
