Welcome to BG! I am excited to continue to be working with the third grade again!
My family and I live in WP. I have lived in town most of my life. As a matter of fact, I attended BG and graduated from Memorial School! My mother even attended BG!
Mr. Herrmann works as a scientist in a company nearby. He is also a volunteer firefighter. As a matter of fact, he is Captain of Fire Company #2, directly across the street from BG. I’m sure many of you would recognize him. I have a daughter named Kayleigh who is entering her second year at the University of North Carolina to study marine biology and environmental science. She has many hobbies and interests, including dance, music, and theater arts. My son is named Christian and he graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Mr. Herrmann and I are very proud of him as he completed his college level studies and is an officer in the United States Navy! We are also very proud of Kayleigh's many accomplishments. Both Kayleigh and Christian are alumni (former graduates) of the schools in WP and Passaic Valley Regional High School.
Additionally, our household is very busy with many pets. We have three Labrador retriever dogs, Tucker ("old man"), Bentley ("spoiled one") and Wyatt ("baby dog"), a lizard named Leo, and three adopted turtles. The care of all of these pets adds to the craziness (and fun) of our household.
Now that you know a bit more about me, I cannot wait to learn all about you this year!
