* identify the sound the sounds of all alphabet letters

* write all of the alphabet  lower case letters  

* practice writing upper case letters of the alphabet

 

 

 

* practice writing first and last  name using uppercase letter for the first letter of name  

* tap out CVC words ( 3 letter words with the vowel in the middle--ex. cat, tub, mom)

* write words by tapping out and writing the letters for the sounds they hear

* write a sentence (sentences begin with an upper case letter and ends in a . or ?)

 

***Read daily to your children. Ask your child, " What have you been learning about in Readers Workshop ?" 

 

Practice the letters of the alphabet if your child needs assistance identifying the letters of the alphabet.
