 Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year!

How to set a great first impression this year:

1. Come to class prepared everyday, not just the first week.

2. Figure things out on your own.... a lot. Science is about critical thinking!

3. Ask three classmates before you ask me.

4. Be willing to help and to recieve help. 

5. If you can donate clorox or lysol wipes, you'll be my favorite ;)

• Class Group Grading (used weekly for student participation in class)

Parents/Guardians/Students: Grades AND behavior updates are available on the Portal. Points are deducted on daily assignments for late students with date indicated. It is the student's responsibility to see me for absent work or visit the absent work section of our classroom. Students have one day to make up work.  Please check weekly so there are no surprises when final grades are submitted. Thank you.                                  ************************************************* ATTENTION STUDENTS... if you should see someone who is struggling to make friends or being bullied because he or she doesn't have many friends or because they are shy, or not dressed in the most popular clothes, please step up, say hi or at least smile at them in the hallway. You never know what a person is facing outside of school, your kindness might just make a difference in someone's life. Good luck this school year!
